"The Blue Sky Escapes team did an excellent job at putting together an unforgettable journey in Bhutan for 16 of our close family and friends to celebrate my brother’s 70th birthday. The group flew into Bhutan from over 6 destinations and were split into further sub-groups based on activities (e.g. trekkers, leisure travellers, etc) and accommodation. Execution was seamless with the most memorable being their collaboration with Aman resorts to erect a marquee at the base of the iconic Tiger’s Nest for the celebration – there was a specially catered meal, custom-designed menus, cake and singing! We also had an ex-member of parliament, Ugyen, as our special guide, who gave us deeper insights to the Kingdom.

During a trek, we also made a stop at Phajoding Monastery, a refuge for underprivileged or orphaned boys, where I met the principal monk Lopen Namgay. During this chance encounter, I discovered Lopen’s zest for cooking and decided to award him with a scholarship to spend 3 weeks in At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy in Singapore to pursue his culinary passion. Upon his return, Lopen trained tour guides how to make pizza without ovens and he also rework the monastery kitchen and culinary training for his student monks. We’re thankful to the Blue Sky Escapes team for playing an instrumental role in facilitating this and in also playing a part in facilitating in Bhutan the smooth learning integration for trainees, through meetings and training sessions guided by Lopen."

“We’re glad to have chosen Blue Sky Escapes to help us in sourcing for an amazing venue and organizing the accommodation arrangements for our over 120 guests. The team sent us several proposals of potential wedding venues at their partner luxury lodges (containing exclusive and preferential rates) for our consideration. As soon as we identified Six Senses Uluwatu as our venue, Krystal and Chervin helped us settle the logistics of the accommodation. Krystal went as far as visiting the site to ensure it was ready to host such an important moment for us (given the fact that it hadn’t even officially opened yet) and also negotiated on our behalf elements of our wedding package and the best room rates possible for all our guests. It represented significant cost savings on our part as well as our guests’, and we have no doubt it would not have been possible without their strong relationship with various hotel partners. They went to each of our guests and offered them the full suite of what the resort had to offer, and provided a tailored experience for all of them.

On top of that, they’ve on many occasions arranged our accommodation at independent hotels and gotten us better rates for our stay in Thailand, Bali pre-wedding as well as our post wedding trip to China in April. Their excellent organization in handling such big groups with different activities taken into account really stood out and made our experience a lot more enjoyable without any worry of logistics at all.”
