Spanning Egypt’s ancient, medieval and modern highlights, this 10D9N will begin with no less than a Wonder of the World in Giza: the Great Pyramids, along with the celebrated Sphinx. Whisked up the Nile, the journey continues at Luxor’s most breathtaking temples and rarely-seen tombs, then sails up the river to the sites of Edfu and Kom Ombo before alighting in tranquil Aswan, carrying on through the desert to the magnificent monument of Abu Simbel. Back in the capital you’ll catch sight of Cairo’s most glorious mosques, its most famous bazaar and the Citadel of Saladin, with time for a jaunt to the idyllic Fayoum Oasis or to ancient Alexandria.

Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and assisted for your transfer to your Cairo hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Today’s day tour will bring you to the key highlights. You will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the famous Sphinx, as well as the step pyramids of Sakkara.
In the morning, you will board your flight to Luxor. Thereafter, you will explore the West Bank, home to the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. You will also visit two stunning tombs not usually open to the public, including one for Egypt’s most famous king and one for Egypt’s most beautiful tomb. Continue to Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon before boarding your cruise ship. This evening, you will enjoy an evening visit of Luxor Temple.
Today, you will visit Karnak Temple. Thereafter, your cruise will start sailing to cross Esna Lock into Edfu, passing beautiful sights of the Nile River along the way. Imagine life by the river, stepping back in time, birth of civilisation.
This morning, you will visit the Edfu Temple before continuing your sail towards Kom Ombo, where you will visit the sacred crocodile temple.
This morning, you will sail to Aswan. In Aswan, you will visit the High Dam, the Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk. You will also board a motorboat through the cataracts for a walk in the Nubian Village for a drink in one of the real Nubian houses. Observe the kitchen and the real lives of these villagers.
Today, you will take a flight or a 3-hour drive to Abu Simbel to visit the magnificent UNESCO-listed temple. Thereafter, return to Aswan by flight or land transfer to your hotel. Experience a different kind of culture – Sudanese
Fly from Aswan to Cairo. Today, you will learn about the country’s history with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. Thereafter, head out to the Citadel which dates back to the medieval Islamic times. Conclude at the vibrant Khan El Khalili bazaars before returning to your hotel.
Today, you will have two options:
Option 1: Visit the UNESCO-listed Fayoum Oasis, including the Valley of the Whales. Skeletons of whales in the desert.
Option 2: For lovers of history, the coastal Mediterranean city of Alexandria contains a treasure trove of relics for further exploration. It is also formerly home to the Lighthouse of Alexandria, another one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
